M8Stealth
Shot local 3-gun match Sunday and my open Glock 19 Gen 4 had some weak ejections where the brass would dribble out. Had one round land on top of the slide right in front of the RMR. The pistol has a Jager guide rod with ISMI 13 pound recoil spring and a Carver 3-port comp. Do I need to go to a lighter recoil spring to allow more energy into the slide as it moves to the rear?

tkheard
I'm running an SJC G3 G17. 124 MG in front of 7.2 WSF yielding 173 PF. I'm using a 14# recoil spring. No issues unless I bring Minor ammo to the match. Did that once; never again!
Daft
I bought an assortment of springs and play with the ammo load to see what will lock up. Clean the channel on the ejector? Edited July 16, 2016 by Daft

EkuJustice
That's one of the issues. Take everything you know about loading for a non comp gun and toss it. In a non comp gun you want heavy bullets and fast powder. With the comp you want a light load and a slow powder and don't be afraid to push the load some even for 3 gun. The hotter load made for open with a slow powder will be flatter than basically a limited gun with a dot. With that load gonna need a 11 pound or do and even then it won't throw them far.
