sirveyr
I'd be willing to bet that an ambitious person could make and sell a couple dozen of these in relatively short time. Yeah, but do you wanna be the creepy guy that bought a dozen vibrators at the local porn shop. I'm not doing that again...
Mike in CT
OK, I found a plastic shop not too far away and I am going to stop by there in the next couple of days and see about getting the supplies to make one that looks like this.... If I get it dialed in I will see about making some for others. Up till now I have tried with the 'new' style of lee primer tray, the square one, and I cannot keep the primers from dropping into the tube at an angle. I am hoping to be able to get a think piece of plastic for the base and 2 thinner ones to copy this set up. Then see what I can do with the dremel. It seems like the trick is to have the drop hole just the right size and a lid over the top of the primers so they cannot tip on edge before dropping in. Will keep you posted, Mike
TruSight
Big thanks to you guys for posting this LEE setup info. That thing is amazing and it really works! Fills the tube in a couple of seconds. Especially when it's cheaper than dirt. My regards to Dillon primer filler. P.S. Looking forward to see some homemade case feeder design for LNL AP, as cheap and as easy to make like primer filler. Mike in CT
If someone has the build on this down, I will pay for one, name your price! I cannot get mine from tipping into the top of the tube and not falling straight down, Mike

I cannot get mine from tipping into the top of the tube and not falling straight down, Mike Old thread I know, but if anyone hasn't built one of these yet... a pager motor from Radio Shack epoxied to the underside of the Lee primer tray powered by a "button" battery works great. I had to shave the "chute" part of the tray down for the small primers to keep them from tipping when they fall into the tube. I found a Lee hand primer at a garage sale for $5 that had both trays and the motors and battery holders are about $6 a set. I used plastic 5 minute epoxy and superglue for the chute cover. The hardest part was waiting for the glue to dry before trying it out!

Mike in CT
Has anyone had any luck using the square trays? maybe that is where I went wrong. eeebay has some lee round units for sale, maybe I will pick one up and give it another try. BBeavers, can you post, or send me, some pictures of your set up? I am getting ready to load a few thousand rounds and this sure would help out, Mike mike.simi@yahoo.com

angus6
That's a very nice unit , would you be able to get it to a price that would sell here if you went to a injection molded handle ?
umberto54
To realise Pal Filler in plastic, I should invest around $ 30.000 for the mould. In your opinion, how many plastic PF could be sold in USA? If we are talking about great numbers, I could think about investing such an amount.
BillD
All these psuedo Vibra Prime threads makes one wonder what the financial reward to Frankfort Armory NOT to make the Vibra Prime. Why did they quit making it? Dillon think that no one would buy their $200 primer tube filler when there was a better one for $30? Hmmmm..... It would probably depend on the retail price in US dollars....in stead of mould could this not be made with a milling machine (CNC)? Would love to have the specs. Mike in CT
Hello, I bought one of these and am happy with it. It took me a few times to get the right angle (low angle) for the primers to fall properly in the tube but now it works great. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NRqqZ9UkTW8

It's what I was using before my lovely bride got me an RF100 - which is awesome!
