Tim Egan
Junior Shooter and Parents: The Upper Snake River Friends of NRA, the South East Idaho Practical Shooters and the USPSA are proud to announce a FREE junior's camp during the 2010 USPSA Area 1 Pistol Championship. The camp will be Friday, June 25 from 9 am to 4 pm with an hour break for lunch. You must pre-register for the camp, there is space for 25 juniors. Registration fee is $25 but will be refunded at the class, as will one-half of the juniors match fee. This is an outstanding opportunity to attend one of the largest pistol matches in the country practically for free. Class participants will also receive a free junior match tee shirt. In addition, we are offering a small scholarship program to aid with ammunition and lodging expenses. This is an outstanding opportunity to improve your shooting skills, increase your speed and improve your accuracy by watching and listening to some of the best competitors in USPSA. One tip from those who shoot the best can help you win your division in your next match. Details of the camp and scholarship are at: Area 1 Website We look forward to having you in the match! 35WLN
Tim, That is a great opportunity for juniors and I think my son will sign up. Who are the instructors and is it located at the same place as the Big match? Thanks
Tim Egan
Mike McCarter and Chuck Anderson for starters, and we are working on a couple more big names as well. Stay Tuned....
Tim Egan
We have revised the Junior Scholarship ever so slightly... To be eligible, a junior needs to compete at area 1 and/or attend the Juniors camp. Obviously, we'd love for them to be able to do both, but if unable to do both, they will still be eligible for ammo and lodging reimbursement for attending either. If the only thing keeping you out of the match is that you can only shoot on the weekend, please send me a note so that we can decide if it would be worthwhile to add another squad.
