When you and/or your spouse can identify a cartridge caliber and if it’s

loaded or not by the sound it makes hitting the floor.  She did this last night when a 38 Special fell out of a pants pocket.

She's really good when she sez "That one is cracked."

That wasn’t in the cards last night, it was a loaded CAS load.

Family movie night usually involves sorting brass, or case gauging and boxing cartridges. 🤘

Dranoel,

That’s easy since we use the same load for everything that involves 38 Spl except CCW. 3.5 gr Clays, 125 gr cast Truncated Cone.

YKYMBAS if….. You still buy cheap coffee to be able to have the tins (jugs) for brass and ammo storage.

Folgers has many sizes. And Olive jars are great for primer storage.

You get excited when you find vintage and esoteric cartridge boxes and ammo while out yard sailing or prowling antique (junk) shops.

I just inherited a box of Remington Express RX12RS Extra Long Range rifled slugs in their original box with the warning:

“These shells must not be used in guns having Damascus or Twist Steel Barrels“
