Drillbit
What pull gauge goes as high as to measure 6-12 lbs for double action or more if necessary? I've read post here about checking double action pull weights with comments like " double action is about xx and single is xx" What should I be looking at for a gauge? woodrow
I think the lyman digital scale reads up to 12 or something like that. Its a good scale, easy to use and read.
Bamboo
Or you can use a bent welding rod and dead weights like the old NRA trigger weights. You can use anything for dead weight (45 bullets in a doubled up plastic bag work good) and then just weigh them on a kitchen scale after you find the break point. But I mainly use a Weston spring scale for double actions since it goes to 20 pounds. They are cheap from old will knotts.

This will be an education on what I perceive and what is actual.
