Best slide lock back mags for 2011

Anyone have experience running mags that lock the slide back and are reliable in a 2011?

 

my father really wants the slide to lock back for some reason. I have already tried convincing him otherwise.

 

any personal experiences?

Stock STI mags with a stock STI slide release would be the combination I'd use if I wanted my slide to lock back.

This is what I use with my edge, just make sure the follower slides up to the top. Some of mine were a little tight just used a bit of sand paper and polished the sides of each follower till they slid up easy. Now I have 11 that all lock back 100% of the time.

MBX mags with the lock back follower always lock back on empty.  TTI follower will lock back with one in the mag unless you file a little off the part of the follower that catches.  After that they are 100% reliable to lock back on empty.  Grams are the same except it takes more work and more care to get the to lock back on empty.
