TobyJ
I'm talking about using a stock mag release on my gen 4, G34, but then going in and relieving the area around it...making it stand out more, without sticking out more. The grip modification description of section 21.4 is pretty vague...maybe intentionally... Replacement grip panels are allowed provided they do not extend below the butt of the gun to form a make-shift magwell. Grip modifications such as, but not limited to, undercutting/smoothing the trigger guard, adding or removing finger grooves, or adding stippling, grip tape, or checkering are specifically allowed, without reference to Appendix E4. Grip tape or grip sleeves cannot disengage a grip safety. 'such as but not limited to'...big, wide open door...to slam one's fingers in. The mag release is a stock OFM part, so I"m good there... I know an email to Mr. McManus would be the best way to get real clarification, but I was curious what others thought, or may have learned. Thanks TobyJ
mreed911
"...but not limited to." That says everything you need it to say.
