Coolfire vs. SIRT....? Anyone...?

I've been struggling with whether or not to get a SIRT training pistol.

Or, rather, whether to spend the extra money on going infrared. Oh, and trying to decide which kidney to sell so I can buy it all.

Just to make things more complicated, I came across the Coolfire system (http://coolfiretrainer.com/), which uses C02 to simulate recoil.

Can anyone offer their thoughts on which is the better route to go for dryfire training?

Cool fire seems like a great option in theory.

However, the cost is substantially higher up front. In addition there is the continued cost of buying co2, having to go get it refilled and recharging your gun every 50 shots.

Idk how much CO2 costs but I would go through a lot of it.

I'd be interested to hear the cost per shot of CO2.

CO2 is pretty cheap. Just get a large tank rather than a paintball tank.

That said... why not just get a gas airsoft gun?

I got the SIRT laser station I think it's called.  You set up targets and with the camara and tablet draw a box on all the targets.  It gives you a make ready, buzzer and shows the draw time from your first shot, splits ect.  I can actually set up courses and score them it's pretty neat.

I actually use a lazerlite in my cz and since it's double action I didn't even need to buy the SIRT pistol
