Taccom coupler legal?

USPSA Rules say mag couplers are illegal, are they referring to the Taccom type or the CZ kind that stores another mag on the side of a mag.

 

Want to use my taccom to make a 40 rounder for this weekend's match

Pretty sure its when you couple two seperate mags together, not when you make one big mag.

They are legal. Taccom has even renamed them a "splice" to help eliminate confusion.

100% legal......and yes, they are now called the TACCOM Splice.

100% legal as long as you have the time and ammo to get the thing to work. Tried several different combos to make it go but still would never run it in a match. Even read the instructions twice.

Hello: I have only seen the Colt magazine one here. It ran 100% and so does the shooter who owns it. Thanks, Eric

Mine runs, do not over tighten the splice. Mine is just snug and it runs. The video is a little better than the printed instructions.

Got the Glock one, with an ETS 32 round mag and Korean 17 round mag, holds 45 rounds easy (probably more, but I've never put more than 45 in it) with no issues.

I have tried several of your configurations and currently have the Taccom 23 coil in the 31rd rd feeding mag with the stock 17rd spring in the bottom. Trying it this afternoon
