rustychev
What is the difference between high and low and when should you use High versus low Sent from my XT1635-01 using Tapatalk
TDA
"Hi" drops cases faster than "Low". If you are outrunning the case feeder with it on "Low", switch it to "Hi" !
rustychev
Ok I get that. Why is there a hi vs low is low better for the feeder long term. Or some other reason.Sent from my XT1635-01 using Tapatalk
michael.flitcraft
Might have to do with longer cases needing more time to drop and clear- if the plate moves too fast it could jam up. I can't see this happening in pistol rounds however.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
hwevers
I always wondered why the on/off reed switch was so close to the top of the feeder tube. At my normal (casual) loading speed it only allows one, sometimes two, cases to drop before it shuts off. Wouldn't it be more efficient if it could drop, say, 6 or 7 cases? I guess it just bothers me that the motor is constantly turning on/off, on/off. I think I saw mention of a wiring diagram with an electronic gizmo that allowed you to put in an adjustable delay when the on position was selected. Any ideas, suggestions, opinions? af220wa
Agree with Michael. Pistol cases you can run high or low without issues, rifle you need to run slower to avoid it jamming up.

Howard Because having it at the bottom of the tube wouldn't allow it to stop in the event of a jam in the funnel. It also means a higher chance of running dry if ran on low speed Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Sarge
I have loaded at a rate of 1200 per hour and can almost outrun the case feeder on low speed. I never use the hi setting

EngineerEli
For pistol I use low because I feel like it is quieter while refilling the tube.
