tanks Posted May 9, 2017 Share Posted May 9, 2017 During a match this past weekend I broke the extractor on my STI Edge, sheared off and I was done with the match. I had been shooting it since January and had about 15K rounds on it (based on my primer orders). I have a replacement on the way from Brazos. Dels Posted May 9, 2017 Share Posted May 9, 2017 I had one go down in the same manner on a Dan Wesson Valor with around the same round count. Ordered and fitted two extras just in case. Talking to others, it seems that we are on the low end of the spectrum as far as round count goes. BeerBaron Posted May 9, 2017 Share Posted May 9, 2017 Extractor or ejector? ejectors will break (especially if the mag feed lip hits it during a slide lock reload).
