HeavyD7042
Which roll pin (firing pin positioning pin) do I need for a Sig Sauer P226 LDC? Can anyone give me a partsnumber?
taadski
Given the LDC is a newer Sig model, I'd bet it'll be the spiral pin. If ya post a photo, I can tell you which it is definitely. And then get ya a number.
taadski
Disregard. I found a google image good enough to establish it's the newer spiral pin as expected. http://www.topgunsupply.com/sig-sauer-firing-pin-positioning-pin-current-p-series-spiral.html

HeavyD7042
Can anyone tell me that this kit contains the newer spiral pin? 732-000-459WB Sig Sauer P226 9mm Parts Kit Mfr Part: 2269PKIT http://www.brownells.com/handgun-parts/action-parts/spring-kits/sig-sauer-p226-9mm-parts-kit-sku732000459-60489-125741.aspx?sku=732-000-
taadski
I *think* the kits now come with all three types of FPPP: (1) the inner/outer two piece version, (2) solid taper pin AND (3) a long version spiral pin...the kind you need for a short external extractor. The long external extractor guns require a shorter version of the spiral pin (which wasn't included in the last pre-assembled kit I bought). Unless you need the other maintenance parts, it's cheaper to just buy the roll pins themselves. The link above (from May 7th) is for that part alone. TGS also has the kits you linked and their CS guys will be able to answer your question definitively re the newest parts kit. They know Sigs well, IME. HeavyD7042
Brownells ships internationally, TGS not. And Brownells doesn't sell the spiral pin separately.
