StealthyBlagga
How many .223 cases can I expect to get through before I should rotate to a fresh surface on the blade of my RT1200?

The Dillon website says the blade edge should last "hundreds of thousands of cases", which seems like a bold claim. If correct, the current blade will outlast me in light of my usage, but I was just wondering what other folks have experienced. ams30gts
I don't really keep track, but I have been through a few. Definitely not hundreds of thousands.
anm2_man
I've only had to change mine once and not because it trimmed Many thousands of rounds. For what ever reason, the locking ring loosened up during a run and the carbide hit the bottom of the die (Trimming .223 - It seems that the trimmer needs to be pretty close to the bottom of the trim die to have it cut to the correct Cartridge length). But I believe I've trimmed over 50,000 pieces of brass with the carbide that is in there now.
