Dillon 1050 converting 9 to 38SC

I am loading 9mm on a 1050. What Dillon parts do I need to purchase to start loading 38 super comp? Thanks.

your case feeder plate should work.

I think the locator pins, case feed plunger and brass expander are the same.  Not 100% sure but I would think that the case feed adapter would be the same.

al503 has it right on all the above. 

 

Only issue I ran into was the 9mm cases sometimes dropped in crooked from the case feeder into the tube and it block cases from dropping and filling the tube. 

 

On the case feeder for my Case Pro 100, there's some block of plastic. This one works with both 9mm and 38SC.

Think the 223 and 380 shell plates are the same, the only difference are the bell dies that come with each?

Don't forget to buy cases, primers, bullets and powder.

 

A great load for .38 s.c. is 1.225" o.a.l. with 124 gn M.G. JHP's and Vit N340 (maybe 6.8 gn's for a reasonable 155 or so power factor - 7.3 gn's. for major.
