RickyH
I have a clymer 9mm rougher reamer and 9mm finisher but they doesn't bite like it did on my P-01 . Is the barrel coated differently so do I need a different reamer?

RickyH
I did the P-01 and you can feel it grip and feel it cutting. the shadow 2 you can't feel it cutting it just slides on a smooth. They are brand new reamers .only did one barrel
adamge
The barrel is nitride coated, which I think makes it very hard.
RickyH
So do you need a special reamer or do you just have to add more pressure because I'm doing it by hand?
Andreas
I'm reworking my loads with shorter OALs.

RickyH
I was doing it by hand and you can tell it didn't bite like it does in the sp-01 barrels so I stopped.
wtturn
So do you just have to leave it as is or is there another option?Sent from my MotoG3 using Tapatalk
Ludde
A simple question, why is everyone so eager to ream the chamber on the CZs why not load to SAAMI spec lengths?
gixxerjunky
A simple question, why is everyone so eager to ream the chamber on the CZs why not load to SAAMI spec lengths?A lot of CZ's won't even let you load normal specs. I shoot 147's and have to load them way shorter. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
MuddAndStuff
My shadow 2 eats Federal 147 and Atlanta 147 like a champ . Haven't try much else in it yet.
Ludde
I ask because I want to learn more. I use LOS 145 grains roundnose bullets set to OAL 29 mm no feeding issues with that one. Do you get unreliable feeding if loading 1 or 2 mm shorter? One competitor that I know owns both a regular Shadow and a Orange Shadow. He had to shorten the OAL a tad when using the Orange. but he didn't notice any reliability issue due to that.
