They could probably clean the residue off, adding a additional step to manufacturing and increasing the cost. But wouldn't that kind of defeat the purpose? jcc7x7 Posted April 28, 2017 Share Posted April 28, 2017 I'm a fan of Bayou's because during a couple of different bullet shortages they supported me with product when everybody else said you have to wait , "too bad!" etc. But They blue bullet coating holds up great even under open pressure and velocity. Yoder Posted April 28, 2017 Share Posted April 28, 2017 I've never shot them before, should be delivered by next week. I have some coated lead from Missouri Bullet Company I shoot out of my .44 mag.
