Supercomp loaded with autocomp and 115mg

Iam looking for supercomp data loaded with autocomp and 115 gr Montana golds ?? Starting load "OAL" and how many grains ?? Thanks for any info

You'll probably end up with somewhere near 9 gr - I'd start at 7.8 and

work up, slowly, with chrono.

You should start around 6.5 grains and work up. I made Major with 7.3 grains and a 115 grain HAP @ 1.240".

No where near 9gn. Even 7.6gn will likely be enough or too much. 

 

I would sugest:

 

1.230-1.235oal

start around 7gn (or even a little less) and load 10 each in .2gn steps up to 7.6gn to start with. 

 

Obviously you need a chrono. 

 

Likely somewhere between 7.4 and 7.8gn will give you 175pf.

 Btw I personally think there are much better powders for major in supercomp.

Absolutely - WAC is ok for 9mm Major since it doesn't fill the case.

 

BUT, with the larger case capacity, I'd try some slower powders ....

Is the barrel ported or not? Makes a huge difference.   There are better powders than WAC for 38.   I know a lot of folks like WAC for 9 Major with 121/124 bullets.
