Dlister70
I've got another dumb question here.. it looks like I'm full of them! Is the main spring plug pin supposed to be left out after installing the extended magwell? I've got a CZ Custom Extended magwell (this one: https://czcustom.com/cz-parts-all/mag-wells/cz-tactical-sport-mag-well-large.html), and it looks like it's held in place by a pin from main spring plug keeping tension down on it. Mine is really loose, and actually makes a rattling noise when I move the gun at all. I took the magwell off to try to re-seat it, thinking the pin might not quite be in the hole properly. I got it back on and got the pin to fall in the hole, and it felt much tighter. Then I compressed the spring slightly so I could get the plug pin back in, and it started rattling again. The magwell doesn't feel secure if the plug pin is in. I couldn't find an install video of this type of magwell, so I figured I'd ask here since I'm sure lots of people have them. Do do you leave the pin in or out? If in, is there anything else I can do to make the magwell "tighter"? bsand
We suggest removing the main spring plug pin so that the main spring plug keeps pressure on the mag well at all times.Yep no pin for mainspring plug.
