FELL DOWN STAIRS.

So my first match is tomorrow. I'm out with the family tonight at the state park. They have a water tower with an observation deck so we go up to have a look. It's a very tight spiral staircase. 

 

Comming back down im carrying my 5 year old and I straight up missed the inside step. With her in my right arm there was no putting a hand out to brace myself. Caught the edge of a step right in the middle of my right forearm with a 35 lb kid on top!!!  

 

 

Ugh. I swear. Luckily nothing is broke. Just crazy sore. It was bruised imidiatly. 

 

Luckly im a lefty so it's not my strong hand for shooting. 

 

Bet it it will be really sore by the end of the day tomorrow. 

 

 

I always have the the best luck.

Unfortunately, it's usually more sore the next day (tomorrow) ...

 

Good luck - sacrifice some speed tomorrow, over safety issues.

How did the first match go? Usually if I'm sore or hurting, it goes away mostly while shooting a stage, or I just don't notice it. Adrenaline is great, but it comes back as soon as I'm done shooting. Same thing when I used to play football

Match went great. 57 out of 80. Arm actually loosened up as the day went on. It feels fine now as long as you don't touch it!!
