rowdyb
Am I the only one running a drum mag? This 50 rounder I've had from Xproducts for about 3 years has always worked perfectly. Yeah yeah, it costs $230 bucks but it holds 50 rounds, feeds perfectly, keeps the mass close to the gun, made in the usa and has a lifetime warranty. Of course, Colt pattern only. Link to comment
lhoward762
I've thought about the Korean Glock drum, but haven't seen or heard of enough people running drums in matches. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk Link to comment
GregJ
If I could find one for an MPX, I would. Link to comment
bwikel
Drums don't make sense for colt or glock mags when you can splice 2 mags together with the taccom system. It is much more economical and has the same or more capacity. Link to comment
rowdyb
sure is easier for me to run and move around with a drum over two mags spliced together. mass centralization. Link to comment
bobert1
The last match I went to were 4-32 round stages. A drum would have been no advantage. A Glock 33 round mag for $29 is better for my wallet. Link to comment
Aircooled6racer
Hello: My Metalform 32 round mag with a Taylor Freelance base pad holds 40 rounds plus two 20-27 round mags on the belt is all I have needed for any USPSA pistol match I have shot so far. I think the drum would be great for an all steel match or some of the monster matches out there. Too bad they don't cost under $100, I would have a couple then. Thanks, Eric Link to comment

aandabooks
I send a request about once a week to Magpul for a D60 mag in 9mm. If they could get a 60 round drum for $100 it would definately sell. Link to comment
Shepard
Glad to hear yours runs well. I've been thinking about picking one up for the occasional super high round count outlaw match. I usually run Taylor Freelance, can you say how the drum feels compared to the 40rnd mag/extensions? Link to comment
StealthyBlagga
Black Dog Machine was working on one for the Glock. I saw a prototype at the SAR gunshow in December... hopefully it will be available for purchase sooner rather than later. Link to comment
JesseTischauser
I bought a foreign made drum because some goon on Facebook was like "yeah mine runs great" and I couldn't help myself. It was a salt shaker immediately. I should have known better. Link to comment
bmiller
We must have ran across the same goon. Link to comment
Patrick Scott
Thankfully all the local USPSA clubs I shoot at go by level 2+ rules. No stages over 32rds, so 41rd mags are fine. I would buy a good Glock drum though if somebody made one. Link to comment
