Is this case head separation?

Processing some 5.56 for a customer and the Mark 7 clutch triggered when resizing some.  I generally set the clutch to 1 or 2, but it would trigger at 3 and 4.  Is this case head separation?  I don't know anything about this brass like how many times it has been fired etc.

Looks like it, do you have some un sized examples? How far down the neck did it size?

The Dillon trim die got down to the line where the case head starts.

 

the rest of the brass was fine.  But this happened to roughly 20 out of 3000.

That sure looks like pending separation to me. 

 

Slide a bent paper clip clip along the inside case wall. If you feel a groove you know for sure it's split. 

 

I would toss it in the recycling bin.

Oh, 20 of 3000 I would just toss them in the recycle bin and move forward. Your talking like 00.7 percent of the brass.
