saleemmamdani
Hey everyone. I'm a completely new shooter. Took a concealed carry class, because I got to do it for the price of ammo, and now I'm kinda hooked. Got to shoot on a steel rack, a tree, and competing on accuracy and speed was so much fun that I'm here looking into starting to compete before I've got that first gun. Hi-Power Jack
Welcome aboard Shooting is an addictive sport .... Get some good hearing and eye protectors, and a high capacity 9mm pistol to shoot Minor Limited USPSA - it's a lot of fun. Not bad idea to start out on Steel shoots - you can do that with a nice .22 pistol - less expensive and you have a lot of fun while you're learning. Spend 15 minutes every day reading some of the old postings here at BE - you will be an expert in a few weeks ....

I don't know the local clubs yet, and whether they run steel shoots. I'm right by Pasa, and I figured I'd probably join them and check out the single stack and revolver nationals this may.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hi-Power Jack
It's very personal, but in Limited, you have no constraints (rules) about your holster/mag positions, and you don't have to reload 2-3 times/COF - one less thing to be concerned about.
