Shadow 2 load preferences...

Some of you have had your S2 long enough to get a feel for what it likes to be fed.  Share your thoughts?  I'm still waiting on mine to arrive.

I'm running the same loads as my Shadow 1. 147gn RNFP Campro plated over either 3.3 gns of titegroup or 3.5 gns of N320 @ 1.112.

Yep, same here. 147 grain RMR Bullets plated hollow point, 3.3 of Titegroup, range brass, Winchester spp, 1.125" oal.

124 Precision Delta RN HP over 4.5g of CFE, Fed primers, 1.117 OAL.

I was going to do the same load. How dirty do you find titegroup over N320

I find it significantly more dirty which was why I recently changed to N320.

For those using 147 gr. bullets, what's the advantage over 124?

I think they "flip" less so I have faster split times. I'd say the behavior would be different for each person. I ran 124gr for years without problems and made Master with them.

I've been shooting Blue Bullet 135 pill over 3.4g Prima V. Makes 130PF. I "feel" like the sights fall back on target quicker with Stock recoil spring and the slide velocity is a tad faster than 147s. I do prefer the 147s in my Glocks though.

After researching, I've found it must be an individual preference, with people liking the recoil impulse of one or the other. I ended up buying the 124s, since most seem to be using that bullet weight, and found a great deal on FMJs which should aid in the accuracy department.
