brytec
wanted to ask if you all can share me your HS6 9mm major load data only. I have DP 124s JHP and BBI 147s that I will be using for projectiles. What OAL and how much powder? TIA Bryan Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hi-Power Jack
You'll probably need about 8 gr HS6 with the 124's, so I'd back off and start at 7.0 and work up slowly w chrono (wuswc). If you're using it in a gun with a compensator, you will probably prefer the lighter bullets to the heavier bullets.

Hi-Power Jack
Don't forget The Plunk Test ... I used to load out to 1.17" but didn't get enough "grip" on the bullet - so I moved back to 1.16" - much more secure. I've also run the exact same load as low as 1.145" without much change - ran well and velocity near the same ...

dogtired
The altitude must really effect speed here but I load 124 extremes with 7 grains of HS6 and make major.
Hi-Power Jack
Speed depends on a lot more than just altitude - OAL, composition of bullet, your barrel, etc.
