PaladinPrecision
I have a STI Marauder and ordered a spring pack of 7-11 lbs to try tuning the recoil impulse. Any examples of what people are using? I threw in a 10 and it was easier to compress onto the guide rod than the "stock" spring, but not that much easier. Was thinking about dropping down to a 9lb. What are you guys using for 130 ish pf minor recoil spring? Edited March 23, 2017 by PaladinPrecision
v1911
You'll probably end up with an 8# or 9# tops.
jcc7x7
7's generally you need to have a very consistent strong grip or you may get occasional ftf. But in my guns the frt sight is very stable Edited March 28, 2017 by jcc7x7
PaladinPrecision
Yeah, My buddy has a iPhone 6 that I plan on using to video tape it in slow mo to get more objective feedback for which spring to run. I have the 9 lb in it right now and I think that might be where I stop. Has anyone found that spring mfg matters? These are music wire springs from NicTaylor00. I usually only buy chrome silicon but failed to ask till after I got them and found the fit was a little off from what I was used to.
