How Far Glock 9mm Ejection?

If you were tuning a Glock 9MM how far would you want it to kick out the brass and expect it to be a 100% reliable?

I've had some light reloads eject on my shooting hand and not have any issues with continued firing. 

Ideally at least a foot I would guess.

Stock 17 dropped them on my right foot consistently, maybe a little further with +P, never had an issue related to ejection. With a 13lb spring they clear my immediate area, but not by much 2-3ft.

First: do you grip your gun hard enough?

Both my 34's (Gen 4) would eject them about 2-3' away with 147's and a 13lb spring.  Never a feeding issue in almost 2 full seasons with any factory or my reloads.

My Gen 4 G34 also goes about 2-3 feet away from my feet with minor PF 147s and a Wolff 12lb recoil spring.

Try shooting without a magazine and see if it ejects the empty cases properly. If it consistently ejects them you're good to go.
