I hate when you live in the country away from most people with your own little at-home shooting paradise and rifle/pistol ranges out to 500 yards, heated/covered benches, Ransom, targets, and the whole works...and some shithead landowner from an adjacent property tricks you into signing a rezoning form in the name of dividing his inherited property between heirs, then 8 months later you're surfing Zillow and see that there's 10 neighborhood lots available 100 yards from your secluded home. 

 

That was a long sentence.  Not to sound like a white trash bumpkin, I'm not, but if these bastards think they are getting easement on my 1.3 mile private drive they are wrong.  They better bring the goddamn National Guard because it's not happening.

Just make sure you are out there shooting the loudest guns you own whenever someone comes around to check out he property

 

You'll either get left alone... or get some fellow shooters. Maybe you can charge them for range time!

I had similar problem on my farm in NYS.   

 

Went around to each neighbor - showed them my range - offered to let

them shoot on my range with me present, and got their permission

to shoot within 500 feet of their property.
