benos Posted February 21, 2017 Share Posted February 21, 2017 This great Hate topic: ... reminded me of a story about my dad, the legendary Bud Enos. Our neighborhood had lots of kids of all ages. Pretty much every day a group of us would be in the street, playing tag football, kickball, or whatever. At the same time every weekday an a-hole would come flying down the street in his car at about 40 mph in a 25 mph zone. So my dad figured he'd teach this guy a lesson. He rigged up a dummy child on a tricycle (he was real clever at that sort of thing), tied a rope to it, hid it behind a parked car and hid on the opposite side of the street behind some bushes. Right on schedule the a-hole comes flying down the street as my dad pulled the dummy kid on the tricycle into the street so he could not avoid hitting it. After screeching to a stop he comes out of his car completely freaked out of his mind. Thought he'd killed kid. Bud added a few choice words to the situation and that was the end of that story.
