darkvibe
Currently shooting major with 4.2gr of WST and a 200gr acme bullet. Looking for a lighter steel challenge load without messing with my powder measure. Anyone have chrono data for a 180gr bayou or similar over 4.2gr of WST? jhgtyre
Berry's makes hollow based bullets that have the profile of a heavier projectile without the weight. Maybe something like this would work for you http://www.dillonprecision.com/berrys-thick-plated-40-10mm-165-grain-fphb-bullets_8_110_25963.html or, if you prefer round nosed bullets http://www.dillonprecision.com/berrys-plated-40-10mm-155-grain-hbrn-bullets_8_110_25406.html

darkvibe
I can deal with that. Its just steel challenge. Not too serious about it.
3GDad
I dropped the WST charge on 180 and 200 grain loads to test light loads for 3 gun / steel challenge but then tried a 140 grain moly coated with 4.1 grains of WST and was blown away. Very soft, flat, and very accurate. I'm sold on 140 grain for 40 cal light loads for 3 gun. Bayou and Ibejiheads offer them in 140 grain. Ibejiheads offer them in both .400 and .401 diameter. I've been loading the .401 Ibehiheads and love em.
