TitoR
I lost the circlip that holds the shell latch pin during a competition last year and today during reload practice. Does anyone have a solution to prevent lose of the circlip or to keep latch pin fixed in place? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
mpom
When I lost mine, often called a hitch pin, I bought a bun h from a hardware distributor. Slightly thicker wire, stiffer, so harder to remove. Did need to shorten by about 1/8". Mark
logiztix
Also, make sure that you are installing it from back to front. Otherwise, recoil forces and loading past it will tend to work it loose.
TitoR
I do have it installed back to front and trimmed the top leg to clear the port work I did, but still it works itself loose. Mpom, do you have a size reference to order it from rainger or mcmaster?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
mpom
Could not find my bag of clips, only the 1 I keep as a spare. Wire diameter is .028" Here is an example http://wedo.hillmangroup.com/item/hitch-pins-clips/small-hitch-pin-clips-zinc/43315-a Hope that helps.
