Youngeyes
At 5PM today I said goodbye to an old friend and family member. We got Kylie when she was picked up by a shelter that had a 30 day kill policy. I've had her ever since. She was half blind from cataracts and coudnt hear well. She couldn't stand up anymore and she had to be carried outside to go to the bathroom. Kyle leaves behind a dog sister and two human sisters. She gave way more love than she asked for. Sleep well my friend.
theKenny
sorry for you loss. It is never easy. I had to say goodbye to two of my girls (18y AkitaMix, 12y Golden Lab) a month apart last year. They left a sister(7y shepsomething) who misses them , as do I.

Youngeyes
Thank you all for your kind words. I wanted to share picture of Kylie in 2010. This was after several large snow storms. I had just shoveled the walk to the driveway. She was a beauty.
warpspeed
Such a tough thing to do. I had to say goodbye to my Airedale on my birthday of all days but I wasn't going have him suffer.
