Racingsnake
At 47, I finally have to face facts and start using multifocal lenses in my glasses. However, as an alternative for shooting glasses, my optometrist has suggested using different scripts for each eye. Dominant eye lens set to front site distance and weak eye with standard long distance script. I'm keen to find out from others shooting IPSC or IDPA if it's worth trying. Sarge
I tried it and found I had to put them on WELL before needing them so my brain could adjust. I personally couldn't get used to it. Decot offers the option. http://www.sportglasses.com/content/General_Info_Recommendations.htm
gransport
I run a +1.25 for my right (dominant) eye and plane for my left. I'm really liking it. As Sarge says, it takes a bit to get used to it each time I put them on. However, for me, it only takes about 5 min. It's just a little weird at first as you non-dominant eye has to take over for distance focusing.

This is exactly what I use for shooting Limited, SS, and Production... Works well...
