You can also use the Taran Tactical TTI +2 CZ Base Pad (CZBP940-00) with the 18 round CZC tube. - 23+1 with the CZC Spring/Follower kit

Was this checked on a gage? I was just wondering if this combo is the same length as using the short CZ Custom base that is not in stock.

I just got some mecgar 19 rounders (17 +2 basepads). I was able to fit the +2 on the bottom of my cz 18 rounder (usually can squeeze 19) so technically this would give me 22 rounds for CO.

MecGar plastic +2 base on a 18/19 round CZ tube. eerw and others seem pretty sure this will not fit the gage. Is this close enough to file plastic off the back edge of the base pad and get it to fit and still work correctly?

Yes, the Taran Tactical TTI +2 CZ Base Pad (CZBP940-00) with the 18 round CZC tube does fit the gauge. I bought it because CZC was out of stock on their base. The website I bought it from did say it would fit the gauge. I did have to file the back lips on the tube a tiny bit.

yes..16rnd with long will stop on bottom of frame.

Can someone post a pic of the gap  with the 18rd mags so I know what to expect?

Any word on when the short basepad for the 18rd mags will be back in stock?

How well do these base pads stay on? Hard to tell what holds them on?

CZ 18 rnd ( SP01) magazine #11152 with short pad #10187

I think there is a L shaped plate that has to be pushed up to get the base off.

Is it like the mecgar +2s? I really like how simple they are to take apart.

But I almost want the TT way tho, that one pin seems pretty robust and easy to take apart quickly without losing any parts. But not sure of the +2 are 140mm legal on a 18 round tube.

Just ordered two TT +2 basepads. How much filing was required?

I took some pics. I have CZ factory 18 round tubes and just bought three TT pads and have a EGW gauge. I also have the CZC short pad for comparison.

Did you use the same tube for each basepads?

Curious if it's the magazine that is out or the basepads themselves.

How many rounds in the CZC?

Springer basepads  on Mec-Gar 17 rounds now gives me 22 + 1. Initially it had been 21+1 but the springs have now compressed a bit. And it easily fits the gauge. I might even be able to squeeze 23 in but it might be risky in a match.

They are 18 round CZ factory tubes. I used the 4 in the first pic and did not switch them around. I have heard the mags can different from the factory.

I use Bevin Grams' spring and followers. I could fit 23 in all four of the mags above in their current state. They seem reloadable in dry fire. I have not got a chance to use them in real fire.

Nice I just ordered 2 10 coil springs and followers from Czc. Looking forward to having 24 rounds on tap after the buzzer!!

Just my experience.

18rd Factory CZ magazines with short CZC extension with spring and follower kit #10522 holds 22rds reloadable

17rd Mecgar with TTI +4 base pad is 21rds reloadable

17rd Mecgar with TTI +4 base pad with spring and follower kit #10522 is 23 rounds reloadable
