TheChef1
I'm getting slide bite on my left hand (strong hand) thumb. I'm pretty sure it's getting caught by the ejector since it seems to stick out just a bit. Anyone else get this?
robertwyatt
I'm left handed but have never had this issue. I don't even know how that could happen with the beaver tail.
TheChef1
its not traditional slide bite. I'm getting it on my thumb riding to close to the side of the slide. Not in the web but on the top left side of my thumb.
vinceislander
I'm a lefty and haven't had that issue with any of my CZs, including SP-01 tactical. I don't flag my thumb up and close to the slide. Mine sits on top of my support hand thumb.
Tok36
I think you mean to say extractor OP. I am a lefty, never had an issue. You must hug you thumb real tight into the frame/slide. I can not think of a remedy that dose not include changing your thumb position to some place lower or less close to the slide.
Lior
Never experienced this, but your mileage may vary. The CZ frame leaves plenty of real estate for thumbs.
TheChef1
Yes I meant to say extractor. Yeah it seems like my thumb is just to high. The gun is new to me Ive never had and issue with any other gun I guess I just have to get used to it and try to get my thumbs lower.

I've had the thumb safety and mag release dig into my support hand thumb. In the meaty area.
TheChef1
First joint top left part of my thumb.
Richc2048
Installed this safeties and this allowed my thumbs and support hand go where they feel natural. The angle is no longer dictated by the location of the safety. I'm a lefty too.
mrasam
Gotten bit a few times with my CZ, but mostly with my 1911 (my grips gets higher and higher on the CZ until almost getting slide bite then when I switch to the 1911 I'm in trouble). I haven't found a solution other than changing my grip. Edited February 9, 2017 by mrasam Add additional info.
chipu12
not a slide bite but one of my "south paw" shooting buddy with an Sp01 was complaining about the protrusion of the slide stop digging in to his tight hand thumb
PRanta
SP-01 slide stop can be changed to a RAMI model.
