ltdmstr
As title says, I'm looking for load data for subsonic rounds in a .308 for use with a suppressed bolt action R700. I'm planning on using Trail Boss powder and Hornady 170g round nose bullets. Thanks.
ltdmstr
Found some good info on Hodgdon's web site. So thanks anyway.
IronicTwitch
I'd bookmarked this post. Haven't tried it but was curious. Let me know how yours turn out! http://ammoguru.com/reduced-power-308win-load/
ltdmstr
Thanks for the info. I'm looking for around 1050 fps. Planning to start with 10.0g of Trail Boss and 170g Hornady round nose bullets. Probably won't get around to testing until it warms up a bit, but will post an update when I do. dauntedfuture
I think that's about where I am with 220g noslers. Trail boss has worked well and I never tried anything else. I don't do anything special for the brass.
1time
Just test the heavier bullets without the silencer. I was using trailboss with 220 SMK and they were not stable with a 1-10 twist barrel.
