Edge40
I'm currently using 180 xtreme fp bullets. Problem is I'm seeing OAL variation and the more I mess around and try to fix it it looks like the bullet being inconsistent. They run in the gun fine but the OAL variation is affecting my chronograph results and I don't like that for major matches. I want to start using a higher quality bullet. At least for matches. Looking at precision delta or montana golds. I've been using tite group and I'm happy with it and have a bit of a supply so I'll be sticking with it for now. So what does everyone think, PD or MG for .40 180 grain. Thanks for the help.
FortyOverUnder
I've shot PD. Both FMJ and JHP. I haven't used any MG bullets yet but my other option is Zero bullets. They are great.

mont1120
I would absolutely go with Montana Gold. I have personally witnessed the quality control and selection process for the finished product, and the steps taken for quality are second to none. Montana Gold is also one of the major sponsors of the sport, and I have yet to attend a major match without thousands of bullets sitting on the prize table. The company stands behind what it sells, and has super customer service on top of a top line quality bullet.
DougM
Personally, I like Zero bullets but they can be hard to find from time to time. I've had excellent luck with MG as well so wouldn't rule out either one.
Reshoot
I have used both bullets, extensively, and like both. I don't believe one can go wrong with either. There are much better powders, for 40 S&W, than Tightgroup. WSF and WST, just to name a couple.
dhollis51
I have used PD for a few years and it is a great bullet, even better company to deal with.
