 I'll throw mine in but it's way out of the norm.  I'm lucky enough to have access to a test facility on a daily or well hourly ok anytime basis.  I've had quite a few guys over testing my gun against they're gun their loads against mine this is the load I've worked up and works incredibly well but once again it's out of the norm.  Shooting a 5 inch SV Gun on the heavy side.

oal = 1.180

155 grain  hollow point Montana gold bullet.

VV N350 6.2 grains

 Power factor is a little bit on the high side but the gun feels incredible

PF 175

 Recoil spring 12 pound

Ive read some say the 200's make the gun feel sluggish.  Anyone with experience chime in?

I can't say I notice any sluggishness with 200gr bullets.  Unless your splits are under something like .05 or .06 seconds you're not going to outrun the gun anyway.

Powerfactor is a bad approximation of kinetic energy. A 200gr bullet traveling at 850 fps makes 170 PF at 435 Joules.

A 180gr bullet traveling at 944.44fps also makes 170PF, but at 483 Joules.

To equalize the kinetic energy, the 180gr bullet would have to travel at 896 fps, making only 161 PF.

I get my bullets by the case from Black Bullets International.

165gr is 2700 bullets per case

180gr is 2500 bullets per case

200gr is 2200 bullets per case

Thanks, gonna give these a try.
