Best Accuracy Test Target with Old Eyes

I'm just a few months shy of 60.   I use a dominant eye correction that is sharp on my front sight and the other eye is corrected for distance.

I believe that one of my problems with very accurate shooting, like testing loads for accuracy, is how repeatable the point of aim is.   I typically do accuracy testing at 15 yds.   I'd like to go out to 25.   But the aim points I'm using get pretty blurry.   I've usually been using 1" orange stick ons on a USPSA metric target.   The dispersion up and down is almost always more than side to side.

I am thinking of using a 1 inch wide line 2 inch by 2 inch to give me a sharper vertical reference.

What do you all think?
