dbagwell
I'm ready to build up some test loads with two different weights of Blue Bullets in 9mm. I noticed that they turn my fingers blue, so I'm concerned about this residue gunking up my seating die. Has anyone experienced an issue with this after loading thousands of rounds? Beef15
Loaded a couple thousand. Blue fingers yes, die problems no.
mikeinctown
Never a problem with any dies. (I load 45 and just started 9mm) My fingers turn black after I play with my gun for a bit, but some soap and water takes care of that too.
Smitty79
I've loaded about 30k of these and never cleaned the dies.
Foxbat
It will leave the deposit on your puller die and on MBF bullet drop die. They will start misbehaving. It is not hard to clean - using the proper caliber brass brush in a hand drill.
JDshooter
Soap and water, washes right off the hands. Never had a problem with my dies on LnL or the 650xl. 10,000 put thru them combined so far!
techj
I run these exclusively in 9 & 45 and load with an LNL - no problems. Only residue is in the bullet collator drum but that wipes off easily and hasn't caused any problems for me.
Expflier
Never had a problem with blue in or on the dies
Dr Mitch
Not a problem. The only coated projectile I've handled that has been very clean or residue free has been from SNS.
