Hammer
I just got a set of 9mm dies for my Casepro which is presently set up for .40. It looks pretty straightforward but I have thought that before with my 650 and then found a better way on the forums. Has anyone seen a video, instructions or schematic on swapping out dies? rmckinle
It's pretty straight forward. I ordered dies for a .40. I had bought 9mm with the Case Pro. The .40's would oversized every time so I put some shim stock behind the back die to fix the problem. It was cheaper than sending them back to Mike for new ones. Again not much to it. Hammer
I am interested in whether there are any "tricks" to pulling the .40 dies off and replace with the 9mm ones.
Foxbat
No tricks, but don't forget to switch the transfer bar.
Hammer
Good to know. I figured when all 9 mm parts replaced 40s with nothing left over I was good to go.
ano
Its super easy, like 2 minutes max, way easier than any dillon caliber change. I can do scans of my manual if you want. or maybe a video
Hammer
It took me about 5 min including cleaning the .40 dies to put the away. Getting a bit of lube under the moving die really slicked it up, too.
