The logos are machined in but, the color is a decal. The body and hanger only come in black. You can order it without the decal or peel it out. It was really easy to setup exactly like my old Race Master but once it's set, you don't really need to adjust it that often. The ability to take it off the belt is also nice but I don't really remove it either. For me, the biggest plus over the original Race Master was the thick rectangular hanger was no digging into my thigh anymore. I was going to upgrade to the Racer hanger but this just made more sense.
