steviesterno
ok so now I've decided I don't need another pistol or new gun, but it's time to tune up some of the guns I carry and enjoy. I'm wondering, now that Alchemy is not accepting work and neither is Springfield, who do we send our guns to? I have a Les Baer that needs to have grip crew bushings probably tapped bigger, i think they are stripped. I'm also thinking it may need a general tune up and possibly hard chrome. Before that though, I have a Springfield RO compact. It's already had the slide lightened, tri topped, and new sights installed, but I think I'd like to have a non-locking main spring house installed and have the butt rounded, but for sure a new, flat trigger (SVI or 10-8) installed with a trigger job. I already have a refinishing guy locally for the RO. But where are we sending our stuff these days?
wanttolearn
There are probably tons of great gunsmiths out there.....from personal experience i can recommend Bruce Gray. He's amazing and i've also had great luck with Rick Hebert.
