Smitty79
I shoot a CZ in Production but I'm thinking of branching out. I have a Ruger 22/45 and I would like to shoot it in rim fire open. I am not looking to dominate the the local Steel Challenge matches. I just want a red dotthat's easy to install, inexpensive and reasonably reliable. What do you all recommend? JupiterAdam
My recommendation is to suck it up and buy a c-more. I started with an inexpensive Tasso red dot on my 22/45 and was very disappointed (lots of battery changes, small moa, hard to turn on and off). For steel challenge, I use a 8 moa. Best of luck, Adam.
outerlimits
cmore would weigh almost as much as that pistol. go with a small dot sight, like a fastfire, doctor or rts2.
AzShooter
Quote The poly C-More Railway is very light and won't add much weight to your Ruger. It also has a better field of view and the dot will remain round at any intensity. You can get dot sized up to 14 m. That helps when you want to go fast.
