Bullets
I know hi tek coating is very popular. I also know blue bullets has their own coating. is there any other coatings out there? which coating are you using or have you tried? pros/cons? Sarge
The only other one I know of is precision moly's out of Texas. They have a different type of moly coating. You can google it. I have shot all three and they all work.

TDA
What I find interesting is that I have shot Acme, Missouri, BBI, and Bayou. They are all claimed to be Hi-Tek,but all smell different...

I'm going to try them at some point as well, if I ever start shooting minor again. That last test in the video sure seems convincing.
igolfat8
I cast and coat my own. I've used powder coat for the last three years. Recently tried Hi-Tek and I'm sold on the easier application process. I totally agree about the stench. We have just started our indoor season and I will stay with Powder coat since there was no offensive odor or smoke and then use HT for our door season. Both leave the bore clean as a whistle and there is no difference n accuracy between the two,
