Nick179 Posted November 4, 2016 Share Posted November 4, 2016 I have the Mossberg 930 JM pro 24" 9+1 12 gauge. What length of spring are you using with the Nordic MXT+9? With the stock length spring from Nordic it won't reliably feed from the tube, I trimmed 3" off and it works 90%. I tried the spring that came with the original gun and it took 15 in the tube but didn't feed for crap. I don't wanna cut too much off. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

swordfish Posted November 13, 2016 Share Posted November 13, 2016 Did you get the regular spring or the heavy spring? My experiences go against the advice of the little piece of paper/sticker that comes with the spring. I think mine sticks out only a couple of inches past the end of the tube. Once spring pressure got so high, we needed to polish and stone (and maybe recontour) the shell latch because shells were sticking.
