AzShooter
I'm thinking of trying 95 grain bullets in my 9 mm for steel challenge loads. Anyone have any experience? Looking up load data for Vhitavhouri N320 and the starting load is 4.8 grains. This will give me 124 PF. I'd like to get lower. Any advice? Snowman50
Bayou 105 FP with 3.7gr. of Tightgroup is an awesome load for Steel challenge. It's like shooting a ..22, and is very accurate w TG.

IDescribe
If this is "new" N320, you're not going to get to PF 124 with starting load, so I would recommend your going out and chronoing it and see what happens as a starting point. If you're not limited to N320, my real recommendation would be Nitro100, N310, Titewad, Prima SV, or Clays.
acoop101
Load starting load then work your way down untill you loose reliability and step back up .1 grains and call it good.Sent from my XT1565 using Tapatalk
AzShooter
By the way I'm shooting these loads in My 929 revolver. I don't have to worry about function as long as they are over 800 fps. It's just a thought. I'm shooting 135 pf now with 147 grain Blue Bullets.
johnbu
I just made up a bunch of 95 grain 0.356 coated from bayou. Best was using 3.5 gr of clays which gives about 950 fps. 91 ish power factor. In a tanfo stock 2, had to go down to a 6# recoil spring and cut a few coils to get consistent slide lock. Good accuracy, but they are short. They cycled a Gray Guns P320 fine, but wouldn't cycle an xdm. But very 22lr like recoil.
hoserdude
I use a 95 gr zero for my steel loads. 2011 shorty, with a 2 port comp. I use 4.7 gr. of Universal clays. really nice. It runs about 1250 fps and shoots like a 22.
