Out of Ammo
Does anyone know how long the springs for Powder River's Drop In Trigger should last? I'm starting to have some light strikes and have replaced the guide rod spring and cleaned the striker channel.
mont1120
I had the same problem with my 5.25 Xdm in .40. I put the original spring back in and it ran fine. Give that a try.
Chuckie45
The Striker spring and the recoil spring have to be balanced, so make sure your getting a good lockup. Also, what primer's are you using? Federal and winchester go out easier than cci for example. Lastly, and few companies that offer after market strikers averting improved reliability. Good luck. xd1977
Unless you are reloading and running soft primers (federal), stick with the stock striker spring. This is probably causing the light strike issue.
Service Desk
Will the PRP XD9/40 kit fit an XDM? I got one in a bulk purchase recently.
xd1977
No, It will not fit properly. The difference in the XD and XDM are the trigger & trigger safety, locking block and trigger bar.
