pistol with brace

This is new to me but looks like a hell of a lot of fun. Can I use my 10.5 pistol with a sig brace. in PCC

No. It must be able to be shouldered if I am correct.

IIRC, the ATF has said the act of shouldering the SIG brace is illegal:

in uspsa you can NOT use a pistol with a sig brace or the like in PCC. it's in the rules linked.

At a match, who would know if it's an SBR using a PSB for a stock, it a pistol using a PSB? Do MDs ask to see stamps for all SBR shooters?

why would you put the local club, and reputation of USPSA, at risk by using a pistol if it is clearly prohibited in the rules?... in the 1980's it was cool if the local TV crew showed up at a match... probably not so much today... out of courtesy, I show my a copy of my Form 1 to the match director if I use my SBR... That just about does it, don't it? But it does also take a lot of fun out of it too. I seen new extended pistol tubes that move the brace back just far enough so it could, be shouldered.

Yea committing a felony and bringing a bad name to USPSA is a lot of fun! not!

According to the atf it cannot be shouldered. that's the distinction. If shouldering a sig brace or shock blade etc you are now in possession of an sbr that is not registered with the atf.
