Prepping Trigger in Dry Fire Draw Practice

I'm a Production B class senior.   I shoot a CZ.  I can shoot 90% points doing a draw 2 in about 1.35 sec.

The 2 dry fire "gurus" I've read, Stoeger and Anderson, both advocate doing draw practice without pulling the trigger.   This is how I practice.

When I draw, I think I'm seeing myself getting on target and then pressing the trigger.  I expect that this is costing me about a tenth of a second.

Would practicing prepping the trigger, without breaking it, help me improve my dry fire practice?

This is done for a different purpose/focus. Different from pulling the trigger drills. At least its how I understand it.
