Nathanb
I looked at the 1776 model I believe it was called but ended up with a Sierra Denali with a 6.2 instead. Either way I couldn't go wrong

Nathanb
the diesel trucks are nice but stupid expensive unless you want a barebones truck. Crew cab loaded. They are all like 65k new.
RangerTrace
Yeah, I've had a couple of crew cap Chevy's with the Duramax. They were nice and I have no doubt the diesel engines would have lasted a long time. But, this thing uses regular unleaded and will hopefully last a very long time. Plus, as long as I work for the State, I have a take home truck, so this only gets driven on the weekend.
Front Man
I use Premium non Ethanol. Better millage helps offset the extra expense. I used to get 17-19 MPG: before switching, now I getting 20-22. I even hit 23 once. I check my mileage every fill.
